Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November 2019 in Indra Gopal High School. All the teachers of the school along with the Head Teacher gathered on the ground to welcome the children and make them feel comfortable. Each and every child had fun and enjoyed the day. The children enjoyed the dance and had some refreshments. The events were followed by the Fancy Dress Competition which were participated by the students. The programme started with the welcome speech by our honourable chairman. Classes Lower Nursery to Transition took part and they all presented themselves very nicely. They came with their new ideas in their new avatars. The Speech was given by the Secondary In-charge which was followed by the performance of classes I to IV. Children came with different looks and different ideas. Few came up presenting child labour, eye donation, in the avatar of Goddess Kali. Few came up with the awareness of save environment, save water and many more. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop the confidence in the students by giving them opportunity to get on stage and speak in front of the audience. Vote of thanks was proposed by the Head teacher of the school. All the students enjoyed a lot and had a merry time with their friends and teachers.
